Turning $1 into $1,000: A Poker Goal – update #1
May 21st, 2007 by KenricThis is the first update to my goal of turning $1 into $1000 playing poker online. I finally hit the $25 milestone at 1942 hands. As you can see from the graph below, the final $2 was really hard to come by. The self-imposed $1/$2 limit I put on myself hampered my ability to cash in on monster hands. This made it take alot longer to hit my $25 milestone.
I’m going to move up to $0.02/$0.05 tables and sit down with $2.50, this way I have 10 buy-ins.
Updated 5/22/07 – 2:22am: 2760 hands – I’m running hot. Took 800 hands to double the $25 to $50. Last few hands were huge pots for these stakes.
