Super Bowl week arriving this weekend
January 17th, 2008 by KenricIt’s getting close to Super Bowl time. All areas in the valley are getting ready for the crazy week that will begin on Saturday. I have some friends flying in from Chicago with relatively cheap flights.
As soon as the teams are determined on Sunday I expect a surge in hotel bookings and vacation home rentals. It will be interesting to see how the rental home market performs on Monday. This blog ranks fairly high for many Super Bowl search terms due to my two posts about renting a home for the Super Bowl. By watching the number of views each post gets during the days, I can determine the interest online
But enough with the real estate stuff. What about the parties!!! There are some many parties that you can’t keep track of them. Many seem the same, throw a party, hire a celebrity, charge $200-$2,000 to get in. There are parties for every day of the week.

I’m trying to figure out what I’m going to be doing that week. I highly doubt I’ll get tickets, although I’ll be trying outside the stadium during gametime. But as for now, I think my plans include the FBR open, maybe 1 celebrity party, hanging out at the stadium and I’d love to be able to play in a celebrity poker game or golf tournament.
