Short General Update
April 9th, 2008 by KenricI apologize for the lack of blog posts. It’s 2:42am and I just got done fixing some bugs on Ebiz2. Debugging is so frustrating. You can spend hours and hours and make little progress. Anyway, I think the site is in decent enough shape to take orders. It could be better.
Yesterday, my host 1and1.com screwed up my SSL license for the site. I hate talking to tech support. Don’t you hate it when you have more knowledge than the help that you call. Long story short, they installed my SSL certificate wrong. Tech department said they couldn’t fix it and I had to cancel and reissue a new one. Talked to billing dept. and they cancelled it. Went back to tech dept. and they said they couldn’t reissue a new one for a month. WTF? You mean my store won’t be secure for a month? The guy said that they could have fixed it but since I cancelled it they can’t do anything. WTF? It was YOU GUYS that told me to cancel it! Transferred to sales department, they had no idea why I couldn’t order one. Told me to wait 24 hours and try again. 24 hours later I went online and was able to order a new SSL cert. Idiots!
Got some new projects in the works and looks like the 2nd apartment in Houston is going to close!

Stumble it!
How much are you spending on your hosting company at the moment? I use LiquidWeb and I never had issues with them. However, it does cost 200 a month for a dedicated server. . .
