Recession, what recession?
December 5th, 2008 by KenricOk, I’m only kidding… I know that we are in a recession. But Christmas seems to make people spend money even if they don’t have it. What parent can deny their kids of a Christmas present? I am taking many phone orders now. One thing I totally forgot about was Christmas lists. Kids surf on the internet, write down a URL, phone number and what they want and send it off to Santa. I’m sure the parents read the list and wonder why their kids want what I’m selling. I get calls from parents who only have my store toll free number and a part number.
“Hello, is this (store name)?”
“Yes, it is”
“I would like to order part number XXX-XX. I had no idea what it is but he really wants it. How much is it?”
And a sale is made.
It’s been 4 days into December and Ebiz1 has grossed over $3500 already. That’s more than some of my previous months! Ebiz 5 has done about $1500, well behind Ebiz1 even though they sell the same things and its cheaper priced. Ebiz1 has alot of SEO and ranks highly for many keywords. Kind of shows you the difference that SEO and a high quality site makes in sales.
I hope the Christmas sales continue!
