Outsourcing SEO
November 6th, 2008 by KenricWhile it’s been fun getting my first ecommerce site up to the first page on Google I just don’t feel like doing the same manually for my other ebizes. It took nearly 10 months to achieve this in why I feel is a low contested industry. While I believe that I have a decent understanding of SEO and can slowly gather links, I feel like I can better spend my time elsewhere. So I’ve begun the search to outsource my SEO, but not fully. I don’t want to hand my site over to some company and pay $300 a month. What I’m going to do is purchase some links individually which I have full control and also using small SEO/Link companies purchase a cluster of links which the companies choose for me.
I have a small budget, but considering that my adwords campaign can cost up to $1,200 a month I believe a smallish investment in SEO companies may be worthwhile and more cost effective in the long run.
As of today my ebiz 5 does not show on any search engines. It’s a clean slate with maybe 2 incoming links so far and a blog with 3 posts. This will be another good SEO test.

Very interested in how this pans out, as I have often considered doing this for our real estate investing company. Please keep us posted!
