Order withdrawal
December 20th, 2007 by KenricIt has been 51 hours and 12 minutes since my last order. How can I go so long without an order? What’s going on? The streak of 22 day straight days with an order was broken on Tuesday. But now it’s been over 2 days and I’m in a selling slump. The traffic for the site has remained constant. I’ve gone over 250 visitors without a conversion.
I always feel like I’ve wasted money when I don’t make a sale. I spent $8.50 and $15.00 on Adwords on Tuesday and Wednesday. I would like to at least break even everyday with the first sale covering my advertising costs.
I do a test daily now to make sure my site’s checkout and login process is working ok. I charge my credit card for $1.00 and then I void it. I’m not sure if I should be doing this daily and I wonder how the other ebusinesses test their own websites. I can’t switch the site over to test mode during my test. I’ll have to do some research to see how other people handle their production testing.
