New Credit Card deal

For those real estate rehabbers and do it yourselfers I got a credit card application in the mail today that may be of interest. In this era of cashback credit cards nobody should be without cards that offer at least:
- 1% rebate on everything
- 5% on gas
- 5% on groceries
Those cards are everywhere. I use AMEX Blue, Chase and Advanta for the above. But today’s card was something new to me. This card has:
- 3% rebate on home improvement, hardware and building supply stores
- 3% on restaurants and taverns
Now you take this card and couple it with 10% off coupons that you buy off EBAY for $2 a piece and you can get about 13% off anything at Home Depot or Lowes.
This credit card deal comes from Chase Business. Now before you say that you don’t have a business set up, you really don’t need one. I went to Chase and opened up a business account for my rental property. It’s under my name and my SS# but is doing business as (dba) another name. From this single set up you can get the Chase Business card. In fact, you will get a ton of business credit card offers. The business credit cards usually offer more cashback on business related purchases when compared to a consumer card.
