My tax appeals
May 22nd, 2007 by KenricRemember when I made the post about appealing taxes? Well, I went to the county assessor site to check the status and I could not find my either of my appeals searching with the appeal number or the PIN. I go to the property search and look what it says!
No appeal filed for this year? What the heck was this letter then?
I have to make some phone calls tomorrow!
UPDATE: Apparently, their database was down when I was making these online inquiries. It’s nice to know that instead of saying that the database is down, that it just says that the appeals never existed. I checked online later and my appeals were shown.
