Making Money Online – March 2008
April 1st, 2008 by KenricI thought about putting an April Fool’s post up and showing how my Ebiz1 made $10,000 last month, but then I decided to be a party pooper and just go with the truthful numbers. I’m sure there will be enough April Fool’s posts on other blogs that you all read.
I don’t know if any of you have noticed, but I’ve stopped putting the 300×250 adsense blocks within my posts. The adsense deluxe plug-in was not working properly so I just discontinued the in-post ads.
March was pretty uneventful. There was nothing dramatic about any of the numbers so here they are:
Adsense revenue from this blog: $86
Adsense revenue from other sites: $32
Revenue from advertising sales: $42
Revenue from affiliate sales: $18
Ebiz’s: $1,032
Total Revenue: $1210
Adsense from this blog is steady but slowly declining. I’m sure my removal of in-post ads has something to do with it. My other sites seem to yo-yo monthly. I don’t really keep track of them or touch them. I suppose I’m missing my chance at a decent stream here if I’d just spend my time on it.
I’ve combined Ebiz1 and Ebiz2 into “Ebiz’s”, but about 95% of the income was from Ebiz1. Ebiz2 is slowly getting off the ground. I’m not sure if it will ever fly.

I didn’t do an April Fools prank either, so don’t feel bad! Great blog, by the way!

Hi, I’m new comer here…I think your blog is good. Yeah, don’t feel bad about this.

Are those ebiz numbers profits, or gross? I think those numbers are great, depending on how much work they’re taking you of course. A couple more businesses on that scale (or growth in these) and you’ll be well on your way.
I am thinking I should set up a proper ebusiness. Blogging is great fun, but hard to monetize.

Those are profit numbers.
