Making money online – March 2007 results

April 2nd, 2007 by Kenric

Let’s start with the results and then I’ll break them down.  At the end of February I put a quick goal of making $150 this month online without using any additional webpages.  I did not make that goal.  But what’s interesting is the breakdown of the $90 I made this month.

Here is the breakdown: this month (last month)

  • Revenue from this blog: $66 ($35)
  • Revenue from other sites: $27 ($45)
  • Revenue from Amazon sales: $0 ($24)

Total Revenue: $93 ($104)

  • Google Adwords expenses: $3 ($11)

Total Profit: $90 ($93)

My blog revenue was $66 which was the highest ever.  I did not change anything on my blog in terms of ads.  I just posted a little more frequently and I’m starting to get alot of hits on my older stuff.

My other sites are definitely declining and my Amazon.com revenue dropped down to ZERO.  If you look at what I spent in Adwords revenue this month, it was only $3.  I didn’t change any of my Adwords parameters so this just shows that people are not searching for the Trump/Kiyosaki book anymore.  The writing is on the wall for my book website, but I knew it wouldn’t last.  I fully expect April’s making money online results to come 100% from this blog.

  2. I wonder if there will be more search traffic with the new RK show- last Sunday there was a long segment in the show with Trump and RK talking about the book. Of course, they are driving people to their site and having them call, but still it might be another boost for you.
