Live Learn Invest T-Shirts

This past weekend while on vacation I did what most vacationers do, buy souvenirs.  In Park City, UT it seemed like every t-shirt shop had the exact same shirts.  While I tried to talk some of their prices down, they did not budge.  I saw one shirt that I liked but I didn’t want to pay the hefty price tag.  The teenage girl at the counter then told me that the owner of this store did not give discounts or negotiate.  She said that other stores on this street don’t either.  I’m guessing that this is an unwritten code among the vendors to keep their margins and profits high.  I decided to pass on the t-shirt.

The next day I rented a mountain bike and went biking in the mountains.  About 2 hours into the riding my rear derailleur on the bike snapped off rendering my bike inoperable.  After a long hike back to the rental shop I was refunded my $34 rental fee.  With my new found cash I went back to the t-shirt shop and bought that shirt.

I wanted to spend some money on a souvenir t-shirt at Zion National Park.  Unfortunately, all their shirts were hideously ugly.  Sitting around today it dawned on me that I should just make my own t-shirt of my experience at Zion.  If you can’t find what you like, just create it, right?  After fiddling with a few online custom shirt stores I made a decent looking shirt for my trip.  My next thought was, would anyone else like my shirt?  Hmmmm….  the wheels are turning again…

Anyway, during this t-shirt creation venture I decided to take my July revenue from this blog and create Live Learn Invest T-shirts.  After all, I think it’s got a catchy name and would go well on a shirt.  So here is my first draft of a shirt.  What do you think?
