Live 2009

This blog is called Live Learn Invest but it seems like all I’ve been talking about is Learning and Investing lately. Well 2009 is a new year and I usually reflect upon the past year to see if I “lived” enough. I think 2008 was pretty decent as I had 5 vacations. But I plan to make 2009 even better.

I outlined my vacation schedule for 2009. It’s a pretty packed schedule:

April – Maybe Havasupai Falls again if its open
May – Maui, Hawaii
June – Grand Canyon (Rim to Rim hike and camp)
July – Winter Park, CO, Mountain Biking
August – Climb Mt. Whitney, CA
September – Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and safari, Africa

I have a few others that I may try to stuff into there. But I think this is a very optimistic schedule for 2009. I felt that I should put this down on here because these should be as important as writing down your goals.

The ones in bold are scheduled already. The ones that aren’t in bold aren’t that easy to schedule. I have to submit my application for the Mt. Whitney lottery for permits in February. I hope we can get a spot at the Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the Grand Canyon in June. I think Havasupai is still closed and I need to get a passport to go to Africa!
