KTB site finally breaks $100/mo

March 10th, 2009 by Kenric

In the month of February the KTB site finally brought in over $100.  It’s a nice milestone and the site is on pace to make about $160 this month.  Pretty nice passive income.  I’ve started adding a few affiliate links to the site in hopes get other sources of income for it.

I just wish my others that I started mid last year will do the same.  I have 3 other related sites and they are showing signs of life.  In March they brought in $15, $9 and $5 respectively.  In 2008 these 3 sites brought in $26, $5 and $2.  So you can see that they have some potential.

I may have to start a few more of these.  I guess if I start one of these sites a day I could end up with some decent passive income in a few years.

  2. awesome milestone! I would say make a template and replicate. you can put them all in separate folders on one hosting account since its low traffic to start anyway. Congrats!

  3. Congrats! If only replicating were so easy, eh? As your other sites have shown, it’s not.

Do you have any views on the long-term potential of these sites? The thing that stops me trying to set up say 100 is surely in 3-5 years the web will have moved on in some way?

  4. How many visitors did it take to break the 100 dollar/month mark?

  5. I don’t know what the long term potential is. The site’s revenue depends solely on its Google search. So any drop in that at the site would lose earnings real fast.

  6. It had about 3000+ visitors last month. So about 100 a day.
