Just a general update before the break
June 29th, 2007 by KenricTomorrow I’m leaving for my annual mountain biking trip. This time it’s in Durango, Colorado. As usual before a vacation, I’m spending the whole day getting those last minute things and packing. From Phoenix, it’s only an 8 hour drive to Durango. Pictured below is the Silverton to Durango train which is one of the attractions of Durango.
So, before I go here’s a big quick update of everything.
Tucson fixer upper #1 – We finally got the electrical inspector to approve the house. It took 3 more meetings with the inspector and hiring a new electrician, but we got it done. The additional electrical put us $2,000 over budget and put us behind 3 months.
Multifamily in Texas – I’m heading out to Texas in mid-July. There are about 5 potential properties to look at.
SLC townhome #2 – No word on the earnest money situation. Tenant leaving at end of July.
SLC townhome #1 – Tenants are leaving at end of July. It’s being marketed for rent now. We are asking $250/mo more than the current tenant.
No news is good news on the other properties.
The Ipod contest is going pretty well. I encourage you all to enter. It’s results for Printed Circuit Boards are going even better! The power of blogs on SEO is incredible.
Payperpost – Haven’t done any posts lately. There just haven’t been good subjects. The payments have started to roll in. PPP pays 30 days after your post. So the money for my first few posts are coming in. It’s just nice to have some $5-$15 payments come in daily.
Poker – I got my roll up to $450, but it’s back down to $350 again. It’s just a tough grind to make money. At least my swings aren’t as bad as this guy’s.
