So I’m still waiting for my $8.92 refund from them that I talked about in a previous post, Bad experience with www.bestbargainbook.com. I am amazed by the emails that I’ve been getting from them. Here is the last set of emails.
BestBargainBooks on 9/8/07: You will be issued a full refund in the amount $8.92 within 5-7 business days. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Me on 9/17/07: I have not recieved my refund yet. Please let me know when I will get it.

Gee, it’s a stock response. The obviously don’t read their emails. I already received this exact same email two weeks ago.
Me: Yes I know that I’m waiting for a refund to my paypal.

Please be assured your request has been submitted and will be completed as expediently as possible. We appreciate your patience in this matter.
Now they are just lying. What technical difficulties could they experience to not be able to refund on Paypal? Their laptop won’t turn on? No internet connection? They obviously were able to check email.
Me: Hi Danielle, What possible technical difficulties could there be? Paypal has been up and running this past week. You have internet access because you can respond to email. What’s the issue with getting me my refund? – Kenric
