I think I’ve found a place for my restaurant
March 21st, 2006 by KenricMy new business venture is to open a fast food restaurant in the valley. For the past 4 months I’ve been looking for a good location and last week I think I’ve finally found one.
My realtor/friend found a home on a busy street and got it under contract. I went and took a look at it and was interested in purchasing or renting the land. The house is not habitable as-is and after walking through it, it was decided to knock it down. Also, this land is zoned R-3 so it’s not the proper type for my use right now.
So the plan here is to:
1) Demolish the house
2) Get the land rezoned to commercial
3) Build a new building on it
This will be a big project and I’ll learn alot about construction and zoning. I can’t wait to get this started.

What ever happened to this idea?
