I got weed

Today I got a letter from the Mayor of Apple Valley in Utah. Owning raw land is not as hassle free as I thought. Apparently there is Scotch Thistle growing on one of my 1 acre lots in Utah. Scotch thistle is a weed from Europe or East Asia which spreads by seed and generally inhabits moist sites or drainages in dry locations.
I have to do something to kill this plant on my property within 10 days or the city will do it and bill me. So not only does my property not cashflow, it’s busy making additional expenses for me. I wonder what they charge to eliminate weeds on an entire 1 acre lot.
