First TMX Elmo… Now PlayStation 3
October 9th, 2006 by KenricIn case you missed out on Elmo… NEW YORK (AP) – GameStop and EB Games stores are going to start accepting pre-orders for Sony’s PlayStation 3 game console on Tuesday… Due to “extremely limited supply,” the stores expect their allocations of what is perhaps the holiday’s season’s most eagerly anticipated gadget to run out in minutes.
I don’t think I will be making a trip to the store for this one. In fact, it’s 11:31pm as I type this and there probably is already a line in front of EB. However with profit potentially $500-$1000 a unit, it’s probably worth a 9:30am drive-by.

Did you do a drive by, yo?
