[...] I just completed my taxes and I owe a decent amount of money. In 2006 I sold 4 properties, 2 at a gain and 2 at a loss. Just the proceeds from these properties alone increased my AGI to the point I would not be able to deduct any real estate loss against my income.
[...] That’s the beauty of this small community that has sprung out from John Chow’s mega site, particularly due to the contribution of Eric’s MyBlogLog gadgets. With the help of those icons for example, I was able to visit Stephen Fung’s dot net, and read some of creative ideas of dealing with money and credit cards that even inspired the master of evil. Then I also landed a Jane’s Career Rambling site which offers many useful information if you’re particularly in the job market (which fortunately or unfortunately - I’m not). Michael Kwan offered you his takes as a professional freelance writter and that has landed him as a co-author at John Chow dot com. The other funny part is that we are tied up together in this house party even though we are half way around the world apart. Check out Espalanade site. Look like he’s from Singapore and the stop motion video that is now playing there is a very good posting. Kumiko is in Japan, and I named my link to her site as pink lady due to the dominant pink color on her site. Those who went thru the 70th in Japan know who Pink Lady was. Don’t know how many of our readers from Japan know these UFO ladies. Last but not least, if you love to serve, please check Mona’s Blog showing their work to build the house for a family that could not afford it. Of course Mona is also from half away around the world. If you just want to check our neighbor from north, you can also visit more merchant dot com. But hey, watch out? Don’t forget to check his interest rate and all the small prints. Just kidding! One thing I almost forgot, Kenric’s posting on his blog on Live Learn Invest had inspired me to try wordpress. [...]
