Condo 2 & 3 sale update
April 2nd, 2006 by KenricNot much has been going on with these condos. My tenant in Condo #3 has moved out. I let her out of her lease on March 31st, 4 months early because she bought her own condo in this same complex. So now I can go in and fix the items from the buyer’s inspection.
The condo’s in this complex do not have individual water shut offs, which means that in order to work on your plumbing you have to shut the water off to the building. Of course, residents hate that, so a system was put in place that you can only shut off the hot water on Thursdays beginning at 10:30am. You just call the HOA and tell them you need to do some plumbing and they will post announcements that there will be a water shut off. Because of this, I had not been able to fix the tub faucet until April 6th.
The buyer’s agent called and wanted to close earlier (like yesterday), which is great! If I would have known this, I would have fixed everything ASAP, but it turns out I can’t work on the faucet until the 6th, so closing will be on the 7th.
