Casey’s 12 hour fast – Are you kidding me?

November 27th, 2006 by Kenric

In the latest installment of Casey’s wacky adventures he announced that he is going to be fasting.

From his blog:

I feel scattered. I feel like I’m spinning my wheels – not getting out of my foreclosure mess fast enough and not moving forward toward my dreams/goals.

To facilitate focus and direction I will be doing a first-ever “Facing Foreclosure Fast” from 6pm tonight to 6am tomorrow (12 hours). I have never fasted before, so I am starting with a short time frame.

Seriously, is this a joke?  Not eating from 6pm to 6am?  Don’t most people do this everyday?  It’s called going to sleep!!!  Sorry, I had to poke fun at this.  If he fails at this it would be real sad.

Update: He has changed his blog to a 24 hour fast.

  2. I don’t know how you can continue to read that. I read it a couple times and lost interest. I outgrew Jerry Springer-ness a while ago. (However, I still find “I ain’t baby’s daddy” entertaining.)

  3. This is the single most funny article I’ve read in a while. I thought the exact same way that you did: 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. is not fasting!

I gave up on this kid many moons ago.

  4. This guy is STILL writing about his foreclosure mess? You’d have thought by now that all this would have been settled. I smell a rat.

  5. I still read his blog because it gets more ridiculous as time goes by. It’s very entertainining in a ‘watching a train wreck’ sort of way.

In case you missed it a few weeks ago, he decided he had to begin to cut back expenses like eating out cause it was getting too expensive.

  6. Well he was going to stay up all night and not eat (but drink tea)…..

  7. It is getting highly ridiculous over there. The posts make less and less sense, his thought process is highly illogical and unfocused, and he doesn’t listen to any of the comments. Also, inconsistencies are popping up. Recently he said that he turned off comment moderation as a test and was shocked at the number of profane and vulgar comments he received. However, wouldn’t he have had to moderate these before, so he should know exactly how many he would receive…. stupid.
