VISA rewards credit cards

My ebiz1 has certainly boosted my credit card spending. I have been using my Chase Rewards Card to purchase all my products and to pay for all my business expenses.
I’ve never really paid attention to my rewards cards because it always took forever to build up enough points for something good. Now with the business I build up enough points to get a nice check every month.
Before you ask, I don’t know exactly how my reward points are calculated. My card is similar to this card, but its a business version. I know I get 5% for certain categories, 3% for a few others and 1% for all other categories. I received $250 in checks and at 1% I would have had to spend $25,000 in one month which I’m sure I haven’t. So my business purchases must fall within the 3% or 5% category, which is a nice suprise.
Most reward programs advertise that you can get gift cards at places like Target, Home Depot, Starbucks, etc… But if you search closely among the choices you may find that you can simply ask for cash checks.
Now that I’ve collecting decent rewards with my credit cards, I pay almost everything using them. I use to pay for my phone, cell phone, water, electric, cable, internet, HOA, etc… with checks, but now I charge them whenever I can. Another thing I’ve noticed is that the companies keep increasing my limits every month too!
Coincidentally, John Chow has made a similar post today also.
