Roller Coaster Ridin’
November 26th, 2007 by KenricStill on vacation in Cali so I thought I’d put a vacation post on here. Saturday we went to Knott’s Berry Park in California and my friends and we decided to bring our heart rate monitors just to see how high our heartrates go during a rollercoaster ride.
Our heartrates jumped up 50-60 beats per minute in less than a minute. No wonder you can’t go on these rides with a heart condition!

Graphs #1 and #3 were from the Xcelerator coaster, a short 30 second ride.
Graph #2 is from the Ghost Rider, a 2 minute wooden rollercoaster.

I still remember that wooden roller coaster… it shake and shake and when I got off I felt really tired…. I went there more than 6 years ago.
A lot of fun, great park. enjoy your vacation.

Looks like fun. :) I totally hate roller coasters. And, in fact, I’ve only ridden on one once, and never got back on.
