My name is called on the waiting list

My name is finally called after 5 months on the list. To be honest, I had given up on this subdivision. I head in to see what prices are like and they have gone up about $30,000 since I first signed up. The 2000 sf house is now $315,000. That is way too much for a home that size. However, I see that a 3000 sf house is only $360,000, which is underpriced in terms of $/sf. I decide to purchase the larger, nicer house as I intend to live in it for a year. After upgrades, the house is $375,000. This is the most I have ever paid for a house! This will be New Construction SFH #2.

Hopefully, this builder will take forever to build the house like my other house. What I’m hoping is that I live in my other house for 1 year and then sell it and move into this one. I figure that this house will be done in Feb-March 2006, although they tell me December 2005. Where have I heard that before?
