My Mini Sites

I didn’t realize it had been 4 days without an update. I thought I had a post scheduled to go on today but I forgot to publish it.

I wrote about my little backsplash site about 20 days ago. It turms out that the site made only $60 in the month of September. That’s not bad, but it was at $40 on September 17th, so it lost some steam at the end. But using that site as a template I began to create more of the same sites.

I created a similar site with photos of undermount sinks back in June with a total cost of $8.00. That site has made $6.47 to date. So you can see that it takes a while for these things to roll.

So after the backsplash site began I decided to create a bunch more of these sites. I made a site for fountains, kitchen sinks, bathroom sinks, etc… LOL I don’t expect many of them to make decent money, but I do expect each one to make back its $8.00 domain name investment within 6 months. My other investment is my time to get content, whether it be photos or text.

My goal with these mini-sites is to have each one make $50-$100/mo with absolutely no maintenance. Who knows, maybe I can get 100 sites up and running in a year??? 8 sites a month seems realistic but difficult.
