Merging Mybloglog with Yahoo. I hate all this merging

October 15th, 2007 by Kenric

I cleaned up my computer over the weekend which included deleting cookies and I try to log into MyBlogLog again but today it’s asking for a Yahoo ID instead of my normal MyBlogLog ID.

Am I the only one who finds this annoying?  I switched from Yahoo to Gmail a while back and I don’t want to reactivate my yahoo account.  Now if I merge the MyBlogLog ID with my yahoo ID it basically links my the MyBlogLog to my old yahoo email, which I’m really trying not to use.  Apparently, I can’t use MyBlogLog now without an Yahoo account.

My Google adsense, adwords and gmail are all under different emails, but due to the Google cookies, if I log into adsense, my Gmail logs off.  If I log onto adwords, my adsense logs off.  The cookies just keep canceling each other out.  It’s just sort of annoying because when I signed up I used Gmail for my personal account, adsense for this blog’s accounts and adwords for another site.  I don’t want my blog’s adsense account under my personal email!!!  I don’t want my new e-commerce site’s adwords under my personal email either!  But I can’t use Gmail or Google IM at the same time as adsense or adwords now cause Google thinks I should have one account to rule them ALL.

I know that consolidation may be easier for some people but I just don’t like to have to merge things that don’t merge together for me.

  2. Hi
A work around might be to use two different browsers - Internet Explorer for Gmail while FireFox for your Google adSense. That way atleast two apps are open on your desktop simultaneously.

  3. I guess I could, but that’s just annoying then. I use IE about 90% of the time now. Still havent converted to FF.
