Deja Vu all over again

Today I’m driving to California.  I went to link my post from June 15, 2006 last year about driving to California and when I read it… well see for yourself.  Italics from last year, bold for this year.

As of this morning they are still looking into what happened to my account. The first step is to get my money back by reversing the money transfer but they said that may take a day or two.

I haven’t posted about this yet, but a related issue cropped up a few days ago regarding this from last year.  Short version is that I changed my account address and made a check withdrawl request within 1 minute of each other and guess what?  They actually sent the check.  Hello… big security leak!  Will post details on Monday.

No updates on SFH#1… just crossing my fingers and hoping it closes on July 5th.

Again, was waiting to post more information about this on Monday, but SFH#1 supposedly closed on Friday but I did not get the money.  I’m hoping the wire comes through on Monday.  Update and finale coming.

It’s vacation time again and for some reason I am always on vacation on my closing dates. When I bought SFH#1 last year I closed on the same day I left for vacation, when I bought SFH#2 I was in Hawaii on the closing date. Now when SFH#1 is scheduled to close, I’ll be in Colorado.

Since there’s nothing going on day to day on the real estate front, I decided to come to California to get some training in for my vacation. Being 100+ degrees everyday in Arizona, it’s almost impossible to get any riding in. Here in California is in the 70’s all day and they got enough hills and mountains to get me back in shape. I guess I should mention that what I mean by vacation is mountain biking for 5 days straight in Crested Butte where the elevation is 10,000 ft+.

It’s 107 degrees in Phoenix.  Time to get away to California again to do some training for my vacation to Colorado in two weeks.  People who take vacations to relax think we’re crazy every year.  There can’t be that many people who have to go into training to go on vacation!

So exactly one year and two days apart.  I’m doing the same thing I did last year.  Deja Vu.
