Cubs tickets sold

March 6th, 2008 by Kenric

I’ve sold all but 4 of my Cubs tickets that I bought a two weeks ago.  Cubs tickets are not in as much demand as the previous years.  Although I made decent money on them, some auctions went for really low prices.

Someone got an incredible deal when 4 of my Cubs vs. White Sox tickets in section 200 went for $240.  That’s only $60 a piece, whereas most were going for around $95 a piece.

This year I spent $869 on tickets.  I’ve sold my tickets for $1375 with 4 more to go.  I expect the remaining 4 to sell for about $200.  Once I factor in the Ebay and Paypal fees of 8%, total profit for the few hours of work will be around $580.  This is far shy of my $1000 profit from last year but that I’m going to complain about.  I’ll just use this money to fund my next ebiz.

  2. Oh, wow, you’re doing great! $580 is nothing to shake a stick at. You just made back the majority of the money you lost by accidentally selling that stock. Sorry, I don’t mean to rub salt in your wounds. :-/
