Changes in my blog
November 12th, 2006 by KenricI’m sure you’ve noticed the change in my blog layout. I hope you all like it. The reason I changed it was because I felt limited by my old layout. I also thought my archives links were getting way too long and I didn’t want a very vertical layout. So I found this new layout over the weekend and I really feel that this is more user friendly and easier to read.
I’ve also been thinking of changing the name of my blog. There are a couple reasons behind my thinking. The first one is that the name is way too long. I didn’t spend time thinking about it when I bought the URL, I just bought it because that’s what I named the blog. I want a shorter and easier name. I’ve thought about “ARRDPD.com” but I’m not sure a 6 letter acronym would be better.
The second reason is because I want to remove the “rich dad poor dad” from my blog name. I’m just thinking that my blog name should be original should I want to actually do something with it later.
The third reason is that after reading and learning about SEO, how Google works and future of blogging, I’ve come to realize that my blog isn’t optimized or running as efficient as it can be. I figure if I’m going to write this blog forever (which I plan to), I’m going to do it correctly.
