Buyer agent called… it never ends

After we put the house back on the market the buyer’s agent called and said that they still want to buy the house. I told them that they would have to pay a $1,000 penalty and close on Monday, but I would only sign an extension once the docs were signed. So basically we our doing this backwards. He’s needs to sign and fund and then we do the contract. Of course if a contract comes in before he signs he’s out of luck. At this point, I don’t believe that he’s going to sign but I’ll humor him.

Later on the title company writes an extension for the contract which doesn’t mention anything regarding the extra $1,000 and wants to extend it to Tuesday! I respond to it with “Eat me” and I tell my agent to fax it back to them. However she advises against this and just tells them that I won’t sign any extension until it funds.

We’ll see what happens on Monday!
