I have a house near the stadium. I started placing ads on Craigslist and New Times online last sunday.I was skeptical of web sites that wanted $400 to list with them and charged exorbitant prices for the homes.I’m asking $500/room or $1200/whole house (3bed 2bath). I thought the price was good, but, I’ve only gotten 1 weird response by email so far. I also have a vacant house in west Phoenix I can rent out. Is anyone having success getting renters? Is it too late for the superbowl crowd?

if it become and issue
call some title insurance companies (escrow) tell them what your doing, then ask them if they would accept the money for you and verify to the prospective tenant that you own the property. I think you could find one that would do if for free. If your first 3 refuse then ask if they would do it for a fee. Upon finding one that will, instruct the tenant to wire the money to that company with instuctions for them to release the money upon proof of ownership and mutual signing of a lease agreement. If that fails call me or another realtor and ask them . this could take some time and effort.

I know that if I am able to rent out my house for the Super Bowl, I will have the renters fill out a residential rental agreement and probably do a credit check, but how do I prove to them that they are not being scammed by me?
